Police Compliant’s Authority Chairman calls for Police firearm training to be revised – 10th Jan 2013
Chairman of the Police Complaint’s Authority Justice, Cecil Kennard, is calling for the method of training of policemen in relation to the use of firearm to be revised.
Kennard was speaking with this newscast today. He said he is worried about the upsurge in unlawful killing in 2012 compared to 2011.
Justice Kennard said, that overall figures for 2012 have shown a 5% increase in complaints against the police compared with 2011. He said neglect of duty heads that list and covers several areas.
Justice Kennard is also calling for police violence to be curtailed.
The PSC chairman is recommending senior police officers supervise their junior ranks in a much more meaningful and pro-active manner.
