Two Chinese nationals placed on bail for assaulting young girl in store – 8th Jan 2013
Two Chinese nationals and the owner of the Sino-Mall Store in Croal Street were today placed on $80,000 bail each for assaulting an 11-year-old girl.
The incident stemmed from the alleged beating of the girl who was reportedly found in the living quarters located at the upper flat of store, carrying out an illegal act.
But relatives of the girl are saying that the action of the Chinese nationals was uncalled for and they are refuting claims that the girl was doing anything illegal.
Today the businesswoman said she is fearful and afraid and want the police investigators to get to the bottom of the story.
The woman said after she caught the child she held her by the hand and brought her downstairs.
Today a group of concerned citizens, relatives and the victim were back in front of the story protesting the action of the business owners. They are hoping that the rights of the little girl would be upheld.
