Mother of teen murdered by Police Ranks outside Fish Shop seeks closure and compensation – 27th Dec 2012
As the back and forth continues between the Police Complaints Authority, the Police and the DPP in the Fish Shop murder of Dameon Belgrave, his mother is now expressing her frustration with the entire process.
Today, the woman told Capitol News that frustration is making her very depressed and she is looking for closure and compensation.
Belgrave was shot when Police Ranks opened fire in a crowded area on a Hadfield Street Fish Shop, while pursuing a youth over a traffic offence.
Three Policemen are fingered in the shooting death of Belgrave. Capitol News understands, that the men involved are not disclosing who fired the fatal shot.
The Police are reporting that the Belgrave file has left the Police Complaints Authority and is now back with the DPP for advice. Capitol News understands, that the DPP has since returned the file to the Police.
