Heavy rainfall drenches Georgetown – 24th Dec 2012
Heavy rainfall drenched the city and much of the coastlands today and the weatherman is predicting more rainfall over the next 3 days but mostly in the mid and late afternoons. There was some over-topping at some sections of the seawalls with water rushing over the wall. Residents in low lying communities are being asked to take all precautions against possible spring tides that might come with the heavy rainfall that is being predicted. Accuweather.com notes a changing weather pattern that continues to vary as time goes by.
The heavy rainfall today however did not stop shoppers from hitting the streets to catch up on their Christmas shopping.
