The two Police Officers wanted for the murder of Agricola youth, Shaquille Grant, were encouraged to turn themselves in by the Commissioner of Police.
Lance Corporal, Warren Blue, and constable Jamal Lewis, disappeared after the Director of Public Prosecutions advised that the three Policemen be charged for Grant’s murder.
The top cop said, information gathered by the Police indicates that the men were hiding in the interior region.
The preliminary inquiry into the matter is continuing in the Georgetown Magistrates Court with lone policeman, Terrence Wallace facing the charges.
Grant and a group of friends were hanging out under a shed in Cesar Street, Agricola, when the Police opened fire fatally killing Grant and wounding another.
Two months after the killing of West Coast Demerara youth, Dameon Belgrave, the Police are now reporting that the file has left the Police Complaints Authority and is now back with the DPP for advice.
Belgrave was shot when Police Ranks opened fire in a crowded area on Hadfield Street near the Fish Shop, as they pursued a youth over a traffic offence.
Three Policemen are fingered in the death of Dameon Belgrave. Capitol News understands, that the men involved are distancing themselves from the shooting.
