Parfait Harmony residents complain about poor water supply, street lighting and security – 11th Dec 2012
Poor water supply, the need for street lighting and the lack of proper security, are among some of the concerns of furious residents of Phase Two Parfait Harmony, West Bank Demerara.
The residents told us, that over the past three weeks, the potable water supply is not coming through their taps as normal. In fact, some of the aggrieved residents said, they have to resort to buying the commodity and that is a costly exercise.
The residents are also calling on the authorities to look into their security needs. The residents said that the community is a haven for criminal elements and there is dense vegetation everywhere.
Parfait Harmony is one of the developing communities on the West Bank of Demerara.
