Owners of CNS CH 6 complain about transmission interference – 27th Nov 2012
The owners of CNS Channel 6 are looking for answers from the National Frequency Management Unit after weeks of signal interference.
Today the programme manager Savitri Singh Sharma said, she wrote to the manager of the National Frequency Management Unit Valmiki Singh who promised to look into the matter. Singh was hesitant to say that the move was a deliberate one.
Singh said that viewers from all parts of the country where the signal reaches are furious over this development. She said advertisers and persons placing death announcements on the channel are also complaining.
Singh said what is troubling is that channel 6 is losing business and nobody seems to care.
Channel 6 is used by the opposition political parties to air their grouses with the administration and the owners are wondering if the signal interference is really a mistake.
