TCL can handle demand for its product. – 23rd Nov 2012
TGI Guyana, the largest distributor of cement in Guyana, says, though it faces some challenges from time to time, they are on top of the demand for the product. Plant Manager, Mark Bender, in an interview said, that the 90-day strike in Trinidad had delayed some supplies, but only for a short period and they are now back up to full capacity.
Bender said, that for those who are concerned about quality, need not be worried, because they observe the strictest standards in the production process.
He also stressed the benefits of using their blended cement.
TGI Guyana supplies more than 70% of the cement used in the construction sector and says it has seen a significant increase for its product this year, over the same period last year. The company says it continues to reach out to stakeholders in the construction sector to ensure that proper standards are maintained for the benefit of all.
