Police Commissioner urges Police to be more professional as Christmas season approaches – 16th Nov 2012
Police ranks were cautioned once again to be more professional in the conduct of their duties as the force rolled out its Christmas Security Plans.
That charge was given by Commissioner of Police, Leroy Brumell. He said that the police cannot stop crime but can try its utmost to suppress it.
He said that all have to be involved in the fight against crime. The Commissioner said, the beefed up security during this period can be seen as confidence building during this busy shopping period.
The Christmas security plans of the Guyana Police Force will run from November 15th to January 15th next year.
