GCCI hosts Customer Service Training Seminar – 15th Nov 2012
The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce & Industry is trying to help in making the service sector more responsive to the needs of the public. The private sector body hosted a Customer Service Training Seminar at the Pegasus Hotel. The participants were addressed by Charge d’ Affairs at the US Embassy here, Thomas Pierre and he said, that businesses look for certain things when they come to invest including a proper workforce.
Pierre also said, that the Private Sector and indeed business men, must play a role in shaping policy.
GCCI President, Clinton Urling, also charged the companies represented to implement what they will learn at the seminar.
Several organisations in the tourism and hospitality sector were part of those who participated in the seminar.
