Child Care Protection Agency observes Foster Care month – Nov 12th 2012
Well over 700 children are living in several orphanages across the country and the Child Care Protection Agency is hoping to find foster parents for them all.
During this month the Agency is going on an aggressive information campaign, in an effort to achieve this goal. This is according to the Foster Care Unit Manger, Colleen Khan.
Foster care is usually a temporary option for a child to be provided with quality parental care according to the Deputy Director, Teresa Gaime.
The Deputy Director believes with the support of the Childcare and Protection Agency individuals can easily become foster parents.
‘Become a foster parent and make a difference in a child’s life’, is this year’s Theme for Foster Care Month.
