Ansa MCAl marks 20 years of business in Guyana.
The Chairman of Ansa McAL, the Trinidad and Tobago Company, Norman Sabga, believes, that while Guyana is a tough economy, it is worth the effort to be involved in Guyana. Ansa McAL intends to expand its operations in Guyana to include the production of ethanol using Guyana’s large sugarcane industry:
President Donald Ramotar welcomed the injection of new investment in the economy by the CARICOM conglomerate, that is more well-known for its Carib Beer brand.
The Manager of the local branch of Ansa MCAL, Ms. Beverley Harper recalled, that over the years, the company has benefited from growth and development in the Guyana market, largely because of a great team that has been working within the company.
The company started out as a distributorship of just a few products but has grown to market several new products to the Guyanese consumers and has moved to invest in sustainable and renewable sources of energy.
