Traffic Chief looks at ways to ease traffic congestion
Soliciting passengers or touting around minibus parks is once again engaging the attention of the Guyana Police Force traffic department. When this newscast raised the issue with the Traffic Chief, Brian Joseph, he said, that his department will be going after those minibus touts.
The Traffic Chief also spoke of the Force’s plans to ease the traffic congestion during the busy Christmas season. He said, that his department is currently engaging the Public Works Ministry on a number of suggestions.
Joseph is warning errant road users and those who are driving under the influence of alcohol that they can expect strong action.
