Bodies of two policemen found at Paramakatoi, North Pakaraimas.

During yesterday afternoon, Wednesday October 17, 2012, the bodies of Police Constables 19510 Marlon Letlow, 27 years, and 21320 Ledon Aaron, 25 years, were found at Paramakatoi, North Pakaraimas.
There were suspected gunshot wounds to the body of Constable Marlon Letlow, while the body of Constable Ledon Aaron was found a short distance away with the upper part partially burnt.
The two ranks who were stationed at the Kato Police Station had left on patrol duties on Sunday last on an ATV.
The service Carbine that had been uplifted by Constable Marlon Letlow was recovered along with eight rounds and eight spent shells. The service .38 Revolver that had been uplifted by Constable Ledon Aaron has not been found. The Force ATV was also recovered.
One spent 12 gauge shotgun cartridge was found at the scene.
Constable Marlon Letlow was recently reinstated into the Police Force on August 06, 2012. He had been interdicted from duty after being charged criminally following investigations into the robbery and murder of two gold miners at Bartica on September 05, 2010.
Constable Letlow was initially charged with “accessory after the fact” which was subsequently withdrawn and a charge of “receiving stolen property” instituted.
This matter was dismissed by the court on May 15, 2012.
Investigations are in progress.
At about 20:30h. last night Wednesday October 17, 2012, the body of Rasheed Abdool called “Black Boy”, 24 years of Non Pariel, ECD, was found on the roadway at Non Pariel with a suspected stab wound to his chest.
The body is at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting a PME.
