Post mortem report of Dameon Belgrave goes missing from file
The post mortem report of Dameon Belgrave is missing from the Police file, that was submitted to the Police Complaints Authority for advice.
Speaking with this newscast, Chairman of the Police Complaints Authority, Justice Cecil Kennard, said, he was informed by Crime Chief, Seelall Persaud, that the doctor said, that the report will not be available until next week.
Justice Kennard is recommending comprehensive training and three years experience before policemen can be equipped with firearms.
Justice Kennard said, that he received the Belgrave file around midday on Thursday. He said, that he requested of the Crime Chief, standing order 18 which specifies situations where the police can discharge their firearms.
