BREAKING NEWS: Guyanese businessman Ed Ahmad enters guilty plea on bank and mortgage fraud
Guyanese American Businessman Ed Ahmad admitted in US court at noon today that he is guilty of conspiracy to commit bank and mortgage fraud. The US Government wants him to be jailed for 10-12 years and pay back at least 14 Million US dollars. Ahmad’s attorney says the payback should be much less. The maximum sentence is 30 years.
