EZ Jet Airline has officially launched its Georgetown to Port-of-Spain route, with business travelers and traders, hailing the service as a convenient one. The flight using the wide bodied 767 aircraft, departed the CJIA at 6 :15 in the morning and the media was given the opportunity of travelling on the inaugural flight. One traveler with whom we spoke, was excited about the low cost for the flight while others spoke of the baggage allowance and the convenient timing of the flight.
EZ Jet already operates five weekly flights out of Georgetown to new York and a twice weekly flight to Toronto; and the country manager for Guyana, expects that within a short time, the service will be a must-use one for business and other travelers to the twin Island Republic.
