Diplomatic Relations between Guyana and India remain strong says GMSA President, Mohindra Chand
Diplomatic Relations between Guyana and India remain strong with climate change and the Environment, among the areas of cooperation. This is according to President of the Guyana Manifacturing and Services Association, Mohindra Chand.
Chand was speaking at a Luncheon meeting organized by the GMSA.
Speaker at that Luncheon was Indian High Commissioner to Guyana, His Excellency, Puran Mal Meena, and he restated India’s commitment to being a partner to Guyana. He listed some areas of cooperation as the ITEC Scholarship Programme and the offers of several lines of credit for infrastructural projects.
The High Commissioner outlined several areas where India is investing, listing outsourcing Agro-chemicals and IT, areas that they believe can fuel growth.
