Police seeks legal advice from DPP on the shooting death of the 17year old teen Shaquille Grant.

The file is now with the Director of Public Prosecution, as the police seeks legal advice on the shooting death of the 17-year-old teen, Shaquille Grant.

Today, Commissioner of Police, Leroy Brummell, said, that he expected an answer from the DPP before the end of the day.

The Agricola youth was shot three times in what the police say was an exchange of gunfire, but that is being refuted by the survivors and other eyewitnesses.

The policemen involved in the shooting incident were removed from active duty as the investigation continues.

Recently the Commissioner Brummell, met with the aggrieved relatives and assured them that wherever the investigations lead the police will go. He described the shooting of the teen as unfortunate and said that the youth may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time.
