One month after the death of their two-month-old baby, parents are still looking for closure

Over one month after the death of their two-month-old baby at a daycare in Kitty, Diane and Randy Shepherd are still looking for closure to the issue.

Capitol news understands that the file was sent to the DPP for advice, but sent back to the police for the autopsy report.

The Shepherd’s told Capitol Nnews that they are hoping to get some form of justice.

The baby Daquan Shepherd was found motionless at the Sunbeam Daycare school which he attended. He was rushed to the St Joseph Mercy Hospital where he succumbed. His mother told Capitol News when she went to uplift the child her wait was  longer  than usual.

The still grieving Mother said that to her knowledge the child had no health concerns at the time she took him to the daycare.

The family is contemplating their next move but are eager to get a response from the police.
