City Hall will soon roll out a detailed plan to remove the garbage piling up in the city and they will be looking to work with corporate  Guyana to do so.

He said that City Hall is always short of cash.

Acting Head of the city’s Solid Waste Management Bissoondial Parbhudin said that the city  is being handicapped with several non-functioning trucks and staff on industrial action over salaries.

The council is also prosecuting persons for littering and so far 14 persons were charged and placed before the courts.
