Former top cop believe that police standard operations was not followed
Former police commissioner Winston Felix is firing off at the police over the use of excessive force to disperse protestors at Linden.
Felix said what was surprising was the absence of batons and shields to control the crowd.
Felix who was criticized by the home affairs minister after he questioned the 37 million dollar purchase of the Water Cannon was surprised that the cannon was not used at Linden.
An independent commission of inquiry is expected to be launched into the shooting death of three protestors at Linden.
