Air Services Limited Continues to Purchase Fuel Outside of Ogle
Air services Limited intends to continue purchasing its fuel where it is getting better value for its money and saving too. The company remains in war of words and an open and shut gate issue with the ogle airport company over aviation fuel purchases.
The company which is now purchasing its fuel from a supplier at the Cheddi Jagan airport rather than at Ogle continues to find itself facing opposition from the ogle airport authority which believes the purchases should only be made at ogle.
Air services has stated that it wants cheaper fuel so the cost could be passed down to those customers its serving especially those in the interior. Chairman of Air Services Yacoob Ally
Flight operations manager Annette Arjoon Martins said the service that the airline supplies to interior locations is an important one.
AIR SERVICES maintains that it has done nothing wrong by finding an alternative fuel supplier. Ogle airport has been very quiet on the issue of late.
