PPP Ready for Elections
The Peoples Progressive Party Civic believes that its records in the health, housing and education sector could make the party successful at this year’s general elections. The PPP/C is confident that it will remain in office for a fifth consecutive term.
Presidential Candidate, Donald Ramotar, said his party is ready to take on the 2011 polls and is confidence that his party will win the general elections. He noted that the party will be successful since over the last few years the administration has created a proud record which it stands on.
Ramotar said his party is currently working on its 2011 manifesto and it is expected to be as realistic as possible taking into account the country’s current economic condition.
The Presidential Candidate said the party has started the process to identify a Prime Ministerial candidate. The current Prime Minister has since indicated that he will no longer be running for that position after his term in office is completed.
