AFC Believes it Can Change The Country’s Racial Voting Pattern

The Alliance for Change Party is of the opinion that it could change the country’s racial voting pattern which is displayed each election year. The party has made it clear that it will not be part of a joint opposition coalition.

AFC’s Presidential candidate, Khemraj Ramjattan pointed out that the party will not be going down such a road since it could be discredited for making such a move.

Ramjattan stated that the AFC has made a promise to its members that it will never join forces with the Peoples National Congress/Reform or the Peoples Progressive Party/Civic.

He added that the party will maintain its position on the matter since the AFC is convinced that the two major parties are the source of the country’s racial tension.

The Alliance for Change Party is saying even if it does not win the upcoming general elections it is confident that it will keep its current seats in parliament and is hoping to win more.
