Hit and Run Accident Claims Life on Linden Highway
Family members of an Amerindian man of One Mile Soesdyke Linden highway are hoping that the public can help them to identify the driver of a vehicle that smashed the head of a relative and drove away.
The 25 year old man Anthony De Santos was killed on the spot as he was reportedly attempting to cross the road a stone’s throw from his home. Relatives are reporting that the man was heading back home from a party with another relative.
His mother told reporters that she heard the smashing sound in the wee hours of the morning but did not pay any attention to it. His brother Larry Dundas spoke of his last words the two shared before he left the home around 5:00 yesterday afternoon.
The linden highway is very desolate at nights and visibility can be very poor at time for drivers.
