New Company Provides Affordable Building Material
As many persons seek to acquire their own homes a New York based businessman is hoping to tap into the local market by providing affordable building material, most of which would be imported.
The company’s president, Ed Ahmad said a wide range of imported products will be offered from sheet-rock steel, plywood, bathrooms and fixtures among other domestic devices.
He also added that the company will also offer its own unique line of products. The company is being housed in the former Mirror Newspapers building, Ruimveldt.
Ahmad noted that the company which is based in New York also has in place a system where persons can make purchases there and the items be collected in Guyana.
The company only opened its doors three weeks ago and according to the president has been receiving tremendous support.
