Freddie Returns to Kaieteur News
After a one day Hiatus, the Freddie Kiss oon column returned to the pages of the Kaieteur News today. The column was pulled just before the newspaper went to print Monday night over a heated argument between the newspapers publisher Glen Lall and its lead columnist.
Reports indicate that Kissoon met last evening with Lall and the two worked out their differences in the presence of Attorney at law Nigel Hughes, Activist Mark BENSCHOP and senior Kaieteur News staff.
The details of the meeting have not been revealed but at the end of it, it was agreed that the column would be returning with immediate effect, which actually meant today’s edition.
The newsroom of Kaieteur News was bombarded with calls yesterday from readers who wanted to know why there was an absence of the column in the Tuesday edition. Freddie Kisssoon has been writing a daily column for the Kaieteur news for the past 8 years. He has been a columnist with the newspaper for well over 15 years. The Kaieteur News boasts of being Guyana largest selling and most popular newspaper.
