Armed Bandits Rob Gas Station And 5 Persons On the Seawalls

The police are investigating an armed robbery committed on two pump attendants at the Shell Service Station at Camp and New Market Streets, Georgetown, at about 09:45 pm last night by two men armed with firearms.

Investigations revealed that the perpetrators entered the service station and held up pump attendants Devon Yearwood and Sherwyn Abrams and took away $10,000.00 and escaped in a waiting motor vehicle.

It is believed that the same two armed men then proceeded to the Georgetown Seawall where they attacked and robbed five persons and took away cash and jewellery valued at a total of $130,000.00 and escaped in the motor vehicle.
