Police Force Receives 20 Motorcycles
The Home Affairs Minister feels that the Guyana Police force must live up to the public’s expectations since the force is committed to providing a service for citizens while protecting them. This comment came as the force on Monday received 20 motorcycles to boost its operations.
Minister Rohee said the bikes would ensure greater mobility for ranks as they execute their duties on a daily basis.
The Police Commissioner noted that the bikes will be used in the rural and urban communities wherever the police presence is needed with that type of mobility.
The Minister of Home Affairs Clement Rohee handed over the keys for the bikes to the Commissioner of Police Henry Greene.
