Peter Ramsaroop’s Vision for Guyana
As the major political parties focus their eyes on elections 2011, many of the political leaders have begun rolling out their plans for the Guyanese people. Peter Ramsaroop of the Vision Guyana movement appears to be set to either go it alone at the upcoming polls or get a coalition movement together. Ramsaroop who last elections campaigned under the PNC R Guyana movement and later moved over to the Alliance for Change believes its time for Reality to sink in when it comes to politics in Guyana and the way citizens are dealt with.
He believes there needs to be great focus on youths and jobs. Noting that there is need for greater marketing of Guyana and its resources, Ramsaroop thinks politicians who have had the job have not been doing a good enough job.
The time he believes is now for there to be a partnership, time to build alliances and move the process forward.
Ramsaroop and his Vision Guyana movement have been moving into many communities across the country listening to the needs of the people he said.
And he is not just limiting his campaign to Guyana, he intends to continue meeting with many in the Diaspora who he believes will have a valuable input.
