U.S. Urging Students To Pursue Higher Education In the United States

The Education USA Advising center at the U.S. Embassy held its first College Fair at the School of that nature at the school of the Nations, New Market Street.

Representatives from U.S. universities and colleges spoke to students about opportunities for pursuing higher education in the United States as well as providing them with information on the wide range of online programs available. The fair featured universities from Canada and the Caribbean and the University of Guyana.
Local financial institutions were invited to promote their educational financing information and the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company promoted its services to help those students who wish to pursue online studies.

Education USA centers actively promote U.S. higher education around the world by offering accurate and timely information about educational institutions in the United States and guidance to qualified individuals on how best to access those opportunities.
