University Of Guyana Now Offering Certificate Programme for Early Childhood Development
The University of Guyana in collaboration with UNICEF and the University of the West Indies School of Education and Humanities is now offering a Certificate Programme for Early Childhood Development Practitioners.
University of Guyana’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Lawrence Carrington said the university welcomes the collaboration that aims to better train persons to mold the future generation in the area of Early Childhood Development.
UNICEF Sub Regional Advisor, Geoffrey Ijumba said based on the programmes outline he believes it holds potential and UNICEF is ready to support it.
The Progarmme is aimed at promoting higher education in early childhood development while offering quality early childhood experiences for children and their families in Guyana.
