Wanted Men Released And Police Still Have No Breakthrough In Execution Killings

Police Investigators appear to be right back at where they started as there are still no clear leads into who may really be behind the 3 recent drive by shooting incidents in the city and the east coast. Incidents which left 8 persons dead.

The police force has released most of the men that wanted bulletins were issued for and who turned themselves in. Over the weekend the men were released and today 3 other men turned themselves in after wanted bulletins were issued for them on Friday night. A number of other persons have still not turned themselves in.

Attorneys for some of the men who were released said they were surprised when the bulletins were issued. A senior law enforcement officer said the same thing to Capitol News adding that the men are all known to the police and the police knows where the men live and it would not have been any task to get onto them.

The investigations into the execution styled killings have not had any breakthroughs. The Guyana police force is still seeing a drug connection with a Venezuelan link. Investigators however fear the gang or gangs carrying out the shootings may be in possession of several high powered weapons. Weapons that are not known to be linked to other crime scenes.
