Guyana’s Businesses To Participate In Entrepreneur Fair In Brazil
The Private Sector Commission and Go Invest along with Guyanese small business entrepreneurs will participate at an Entrepreneur Fair in Boa Vista in the neighboring country.
The Fair runs from the 10th to the 15th November and seeks to forge business partnerships to improve trade between Guyana and Brazil. The Executive Director of the Public Sector Commission Roubinder Rambarran said they will be working with small businesses in preparation for the fair.
And Chief Executive Officer of Go Invest Geoffery Da Silva, said that specific areas such as Pharmaceuticals and the seafood industry are some of the business areas that will be targeted. When asked about the possibility of the language barrier hampering trade, he stated that trade would be facilitated by Guyanese versed in the language living in Lethem and Boa Visa area.
At the Entrepreneur Fair eight booths will be allocated to the Guyanese contingent at a cost of US $1000. One of which will be used by the Guyana Government.
