PNC’s Potential Presidential Candidate Brigadier David Granger is Looking to Deal With The Crime and Violence Issue Should He Be Selected

The crime situation in the country right now is one of the big issues Brigadier David Granger intends to look at once he is given the nod as the PNC Presidential candidate for the next elections. Granger who is considered an expert on security matters having served as a commander in the Guyana Defense Force and National Security Advisor to the President under Desmond Hoyte believes security has to be high on the agenda, especially the drug trade.
But its not just security that a Granger Candidacy will pay attention to. He is also worried about the education system and the problems it has faced over the years. With concerns too about race relations in Guyana, Brigadier Granger does not intend to shy away from dealing with that issue.
David Granger who has written several books on security and other national issues, is also the founder of the Guyana Review Magazine. Over the next few weeks he intends to sit down with PNC officials and discuss and his race for the candidacy. At age 65, he believes when its time to go to the polls, his age will not matter.
