Justice Carl Singh removed from Caribbean Airlines flight
Caribbean Airlines is investigating an incident which took place over the weekend on one of its planes and involved the acting chancellor.
Eyewitness reports indicate that the acting Chancellor of the Judiciary Justice Carl Singh was removed from a Caribbean Airlines flight in Toronto after a reported heated verbal confrontation with the Caribbean airlines Toronto area manager.
Justice Singh apparently had the verbal confrontation with the area manager just before boarding the flight to Georgetown. He was eventually removed from the aircraft and not allowed to come home on that flight.
Justice Singh was allowed to travel the next day and arrived in Guyana incident free. Today Justice Singh confirmed the incident but would offer no details saying that it was an unfortunate incident. The Caribbean airlines Guyana office is offering no comment.
Meanwhile, there are concerns about whether the Caribbean airlines manager could have instructed the Chancellor’s removal since the airline’s pilot and agents on board are usually the only ones to pass instructions about the removal of a passenger.
